I had a dyeing workshop at my place on Saturday with about 7 ladies all trying there hand at microwave dyeing.

We all had a wonderful time and I forgot to take photos as I was so busy.

When the workshop was finished my girls came out to my studio to help tidy up the room.

When they asked if there were any leftovers, I thought they were talking about morning tea.

I was wrong they wanted to dye up some yarn, lucky for them I did have some extra skeins soaking due to a couple of ladies unable to make it.

So here it what they came up with.
Now they are asking how can they sell them to make pocket money for the holidays. I may have to make them into some soakers/shorties.

The semi solid colours I did they are 2ply lace weight yarn.

Kitchen Swap

I was in a kitchen swap with Woolaholics.

I can post about these as I know that my swappee has received them.

This was a challenge as I had no idea where to start.

After many hours searching the net I finally decided on these.

I made a knitted tea pot cover with two mug covers as well as some coasters which were crocheted for the cups and a larger one for the tea pot and included a box of green tea.

This was a blend of knitting and crocheting. My crocheting is very limited.

Hoping my swappee likes them.
